Responsible for designing what websites look like and their appearance. Front-end engineers are also making use of the API’s developed by our application developers, and also responsible for things like hover over effects, in-screen pop-ups, etc.

Scale LinkedIn’s infrastructure to handle massive growth in membership, traffic, and data as we continue to experience dramatic growth in the usage of our products with a focus in Data Infrastructure, Search, Network and Analytics Platforms, Service Platforms and Systems/Algorithms that generate relevant Content and Community.
Data Science, Analytics
Work closely with data analytics staff and our business partners to analyze product performance and member engagement data to drive informed decisions. Utilize data engineering tools to process big data in a scalable and automated fashion. Analyze, mash-up, and mine massive amounts of data to extract useful business insights.
Work on our massive semi-structured text, graph and user activity data sets. Build highly scalable, highly performant social graph engines, state-of-the-art full-text search engines, and platforms for recommendation and applied data analytics. You will utilize data mining, information retrieval, machine learning and perfect your strong systems orientation skills. (*Note, preference for Master’s/Ph.D. candidates)
Technical Project/Program Manager
Drive projects within LinkedIn’s R&D teams to execute on company initiatives. Perform using best practices for planning, scheduling, monitoring, tracking, and execution to provide support to initiatives within our R&D organization. A balance of people, organizational, and technical skills, and ability to execute and deliver successfully in situations where autonomy is given.

Infrastructure & Enterprise Engineering consists of 8 majors groups with multiple teams in each group. They build, manage and scale infrastructure to provide our members, stakeholders and employees with a consistently reliable and seamless experience.
Associate Product Manager
Manage and drive global product requirements, develop end-to-end project plans, and lead functional and technical delivery of key team-, org-, and company-wide initiatives. Work with the product development team and other cross-functional teams to bring product features live to the site.
