Step 2: Apply To This Job
Visit this job posting to start your application for the LinkedIn Support Consultant role. Please note that we are accepting applications for future Support Consultant positions. Your application will be reviewed as roles become available.
Step 3: Demonstrate Your Skills
Once your application is received, you will receive an email with a multiple choice online skills assessment from a LinkedIn recruiter within 5 business days. If you pass the skills assessment, you’ll move on to a video interview.
Step 4: Interview
If you are successful on the multiple choice assessment and the video interview, you will move directly to an interview with a LinkedIn recruiter.
Who is eligible to apply?
You can apply to the LinkedIn Support Consultant role based out of our Omaha, NE office. Anyone who is eligible to work in the United States can apply.
Will I be required to come to the office?
For the safety of our employees, the Omaha office is closed until further notice. The role will be based out of the Omaha office as soon as it is safe to return. Employees will be expected to work remotely until offices are open. LinkedIn will provide remote work accommodations.
What are the hours of this role?
We have a variety of work schedules available, including weekends and evenings. Details will be provided by the recruiter during the interview process.
Can I be referred to the program?
You can ask a LinkedIn employee to refer you for this position, but please note that referred candidates will be considered equally alongside everyone else.
Do I have to have a LinkedIn profile?
No, you do not need a LinkedIn profile to participate in the hiring program.
How long will the LinkedIn Learning courses take?
Everyone learns in different ways and at a different pace, but we estimate the courses take around 6 hours to complete. Please remember that these courses are optional and you do not have to complete them in the same sitting if you choose to take them.
What is a skills assessment?
The skills assessment is a short, multiple choice test to determine your understanding of the fundamentals of customer service. If you wish to be as prepared as possible for this assessment, we encourage you to watch these free, optional LinkedIn Learning videos. Candidates will be sent a link to take a skills assessment on a platform called HireVue within 5 business days of submitting their application. Please note that applicants may only complete the skills assessment once.
What is the video interview and how do I complete it?
If you pass the skills assessment, you’ll be invited to take a video interview. All videos are reviewed and assessed by our recruiters.
Are these assessments timed? Do I have to take it in one sitting?
The multiple choice assessment is not timed, and you do not need to complete it in one sitting. The video interview, which consists of 2 questions, will be timed and should be completed in one sitting. In addition, the HireVue platform does give you time to practice your video piece before the real video interview begins.
How many chances do I get?
Both assessments can only be taken once, so be sure to prepare adequately and give it your best shot!
